....what's my note?....wait...ok there we go.....
WOW. Haven't updated in a while my loves. Hm....what shall we talk about first......
Valentine's Day was a good, good day :). Went to school at second block (late because of Access Bway, which was oodles of fun!) and Kitty Kait gave me chocolate! How I love her. I got a Barbie Valentine in third because it "suited me". Went to Brandon's after school, which made the whole point of Valentine's Day so worthwhile. He makes me very happy. But of course, what would happen to fall on that day as well?
Spitfire rehersal.
Don't get me wrong, I love this show, but I was a little dissapointed that I had to leave. Speaking of Spitfire, it's been going really well. YOU ALL BETTER COME! .....opening night would be super :). Ask me if you need the details. The rehersals are about to get heavy until opening night. 6 to God knows when.....I have two on Saturday, but I think it's just a break in between one big one.
School.....blah blah blah....educational.....then in Vocal Ensemble we......it was fun.....then at break I.......and I went home...........Yeah, that's school.
And then there was today. I left school early to go sing at the Twin 150's, a race to qualify for the Daytona 500. For those of you playing the home game, my daddy has a racing team with Moriah's daddy and they had a suite with box seats for the race, so I was already going. The day before my mommy decided to tell me that the person who was supposed to sing the National Anthem was sick, so they were going to have me do it. Nice time to find out eh? So an-ee-way, I get there and we go to the suite and it's amazing, it's so high up. Walk around the infield and the garages for a bit and go to this trailor thing and meet our team's driver, Eric (#73). Daddy took me into this media room thingy where all of the newspaper and tv people were. We walked down pit road to behind the stage thingy and some of the driver's were there like Jeff Gordan and Dale Jr. I haven't seen them in like 2 years. So that's when the madness began. Different people started coming up to me saying "We'll cue you here" and "The camera will be here" and just all of this crazy prepping stuff. They told me to go on the stage and wait until the prayer was done, then to take the mic and sing.
In front of 200,000 people
It was so overwhelming and amazing. After I was done I felt like I was famous for like 5 hours (..reading that it sounds really corney....oh well). I started walking with ma familia to leave and this woman came up to me and asked me if I wanted to ride in the front pace car. I didn't exactaly know what that was until I got the front of a car with 3 guys in the back (1 in the front driving) and we started driving on the track. The driver said "look behind you" and all of the car's were following us....then I remembered what a pace car was. The first lap we went about 60, but then the driver turned to me and said "We're gonna win" kind of jokingly, told me to hold on, and then we went 110 mph around for the second lap. It was crazy. It kind of felt like a roller coaster. People were asking for autographs and pictures. It was just an amazing experience.
Spent the rest of the day with Moriah. It took us like an hour for the limo to get back to our garage. But we left to go see Matt at work. Jammed out, tried on silly outfits, played in the store. Good day.
I DEFINATELY want to hang out with certain people this weekend. Life is happy right now. If you finished reading all of that, then I love you :), you get a cookie
......I'm going to fall out....too fast...way too fast.....
