Yesterday, I went to the library to get some tools to keep me from getting quite so bored, since my parents are holiday-party planning and my sisters are still in the midst of exams (and therefore not available to hang out quite yet).
Anyways, they just redid the library and it is BEAUTIFUL. Seriously. ANd they have these check-yourself-out stations...(think U Scan at grocery stores/wal-mart) which were amazing. Plus I got to use the magnetic cd and dvd case protector remover contraption.
Things I got :
1) The three sequels/companions/whatnots to The Frog Princess by E.D. Baker. I didn't even KNOW there were other books in this series! I actually went looking for The Frog Princess because I wanted to read it again...I ended up only getting the three others, but we'll see how they are (You can check out my opinions of books I'll be reading at "Big, Fun, Scary Goals Central" from the link list on the right of the page...it's goal number 6. Or click here (yes i'm nice and linked you). There's only one book there now, but there will be more to come).
2) The new Ann Rinaldi book. Yes, i'm still reading them (I got hooked in middle school). Of her last three, I only liked one, though, so we'll see how this one pans out
3) A Meg Cabot book. One of the adult fiction one. I can't remember the title or whether or not I've read it. So more to come on that as well\
4) Sunlight and Shadow, Scarlett Moon, and Midnight Pearls from the fairy tales retold series. Once again, I feel like I've read some of these before...but oh well.
5) A Manday Patinkin Cd (YES!!YAY! is all I can say on that).
6) Mary Poppins Special Edition DVD - because I *LOVE* this movie and haven't had enough money to buy the dvd...and I wanted to see the special features (Which are amazing, ps).
