Ehhh, haven't been on livejournal too much lately. Figured it was time to update...
Let's see...I graduated! Momm threw me a nice little graduation party. All of my wierd but great relatives from St. Louis came down for the event. I got lots of $MULA$ (ch-ching!), which is always nice. Mom and Dad got me a lap-top and a cute little carrying case for school next year. (Man, it's gonna be weird going away! I've gotta start getting ready.)
Something, some party or formal event has been going on every weekend. Three weekends ago was Ashleigh's wedding shower. The weekend after that was my graduation party. This past weekend was Memorial Day and my mom's birhday, which we celebrated camping in Lebanon all weekend. This Saturday's Ashleigh's Bachlorette Party, which i'm hosting. It should be fun. Next weekend's the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and Ashleigh's Wedding. Right after that, It's off to MU for summer welcome. It's been busy....
Summer Welcome should be interesting. I'll get my student ID, Register for classes, meet my advisor, stay in my residence hall (hopefully w/ my roommate, if i'm lucky), and participate in a whole bunch of fun events... I find out who my roomate is tomarrow (it'll be posted online), as well as if I got my residence preferences.
I hope I got an agreeable, trendy, and fun roomate...we'll see...it makes me nervous. Looks like I'll be moving up to Columbia on August the 14th for Rush. I'm exited. It'll be fun. I hope Dad lets me join a sorority. The parties will be great and I'd like to be involved in a group of some sort. Anyways, I'm really excited and looking forward to school. College life @ MU will be tottally new and fun. I've started packing and cleaning out my room, but there's still much more to do. Not to mention I still have to buy appliances and decorations and the like for my dorm room. So much to do to get ready, and there's really not that much time...
Let's see.... I've been looking for jobs lately. I've been hired at 579, and both Andy's and Springfield Brewing Company are recruiting me. I have an interview at the Brew Co. tomarrow @ 3:00, and start my new job @ 579 @ 5:30. Andy's has called me, but is currently checking on my references and with my counselor from school. I dunno what I'm gonna do...I wish everywhere would make their offer at once so I could choose the highest paying one w/ the most hours. I dunno... we'll see....
However, my current new job @ 579 should be fun. I like the people I'll be working w/, and I really like the atmosphere and the clothes and shoes,(not to mention the discounts). I also think that It'll be something I'll really enjoy and be good at. Working in the clothes and fashion buisiness just sounds like my peice of cake!
So yeah, anyways that's what's been goin' on w/ me, I wish you all a good summer!
Call me if any of you folks have some free time and wanna hang, and I'll we'll see if we can match schedules for awhile. Peace out, take care, and don't forget to catch a little sun once in a while! (It is summer ya know!!) :)
