scars from the church.
well then.
i haven't updated livejournal in TWO YEARS. almost.
good lord almighty.
everyone seems to have a bad "church" experience.
well i just had mine.
so i wrote my boyfriend a note back in july stating two things.
one: we shouldn't make out all the time and
two: "you're right, pastor rick hasn't been preaching too long"
so ok i was stating a good change for one thing.
and NOT implying anything bad about the pastor for another.
but how is this a bad experience?
here goes.
i wrote anthony the note, and then he put it in his bible--which he frequently leaves at church. somebody put it in the lost and found and that's when it was left there. anthony picked up his bible and apparently the note was just left behind. so two freshman girls are going through the lost and found (why i don't know), find the note, read it, and give it to two of the men that go to church (that i would have thought would be above reading it). they read it and before anybody else gets it, barb, one of my friends mom take the note away and tells them all that the note is personal talk between two people and they have no business reading it.
so now i'm the church whore and apparently i hate pastor rick
this really pisses me off.
needless to say my desire to hang out with the crowd at applebee's after church wednesday was called off
and uh,
yeah i'm visiting a different church this sunday.
abby is pissed off.
