So, things have been crazy zany since the last time I posted. I don't even remember the last thing I posted in this bad boy. Lots of stuff has happen in my life. One of the worst things is probably the arcade closed. A huge chapter and part of my life is gone now, and hopefully all my friends from there will continue to keep in touch even though we don't have the hangout anymore.
I'll be working at Gamestop starting next month. I finished all my paperwork and such last week, but they won't have hours for me until September. Hopefully this turns out well as I am a huge game nerd and all. I really should try to find employment closer to home, but this is something I know and I'm sure I will enjoy.
I got to go to NYC for the first time since I was in HS. Got to actually drive around in the city, which I wouldn't suggest to your novice or average driver in attempting. That was quite possibly the craziest experience in driving ever. I took my g/f to the school she was looking at and hoping to attend in the fall for an open house. I also got to see my uncle, which is my favorite uncle. I got to eat NY style pizza for the first time in a long time. Reminded me of why NYC's pizza destroys any other pizza out there. It was a nice change of pace for once in a long time.
Quite possibly the hugest announcement from me is that I will be attending Holyoke Community College this Fall. Yes folks, that's right; Marcos Navarro will be going back to school starting this September. Look out world, this boy is going back to get his education. Humorously, I will not be studying what I originally thought I would be when I went to school. I'm not going back for Engineering, but I'm actually going back to study Music. I realized in the last 3 years that Music means so much more to me than everything else in my life. It took some special lady to make me realize how much passion I had for it. Thanks babe.
I've decided I want to do something involving Music Education because we NEED to let the younger people in the world know that music and art in general are wonderful escapes from the violence and drama of their lives. I hope I can be a great example as my life is perfect in that aspect of music helping me go from being a miscreant in middle and elementary school to disciplined in HS with all the music programs I was involved with. Heck, music helped me through one of the toughest parts in my life. There were a lot of people that also contributed to me making it through that time, but I've got to say when there wasn't anyone around, music was there for me.
So, that's all for now from this crazy guy. Maybe we'll see a return of me posting more often. Who knows? For now we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
