Friday Night Lights
Now my favorite TV series. I can never remember any when people ask, but easily Friday Night Lights. Season 5. It's over.
Why? Because there is a level of emotional maturity that I think the
world needs to role model. Honesty, compassion, hard work, all the
things that I think are the best thing about people. Also, because the
writers do such a good job of capturing realistic highs and lows in
life. I think it makes me addicted to emotional range. There is
something addicting about highlight reels.
Of course, it all works out in the end. Everyone gets what you hope they
get. In that sense, I think this and a lot of other stories are guilty
of being unrealistic. Life is a bit more chaotic than that. It doesn't
always have to work out. This is not a real post.
