well hello again...
it's been a long time since i updated, but you just wouldn't believe how busy i have been! whew. I think it's OK to wear white now and be ON VACATION now. oh, i seem to have a perpetual vacation followed by responsibility and illness, and yes, that is my life. it's a rough life, but somebody's got to live it LOL
in March, we went on a cruise and met my step-daughter's rude fiance, who she has now broken up with - that bastard. then i had a week to get ready to have my city mouse college friend come visit theis country mouse. she loved it! funny how when you've known someone for decades, it only gets better.
then we mwt up with our kids and grandson in New Orleans for Easter. A good time was had by all, yes, indeed. oh boy, am i gonna have to post jpgs! then we went to a great wedding in Austin, Texas - one of the best places on earth. you can check out my last entry for wedding photos.
finished the year as club president and then i was installed as a state treasurer and a district president of my GFWC organization. sounds pretty damn responsible, doesn't it? damn - i am truly an upstanding US citizen, aren't i?
i have a foot problem again, a split on my heel, that is taking it's time healing on my diabetic foot. i am in a walker now so i don't keep reopening it by walking on it. so i have been grounded, literally.
my daughter is moving for the 5th time in 5 years and i can't wait to see their new house. my neice is coming for 6 wks this summer and we're getting season passes to Silver Dollar City - yahoo.
btw, we just had a neighborhood Memorial Day Party with 40 or so guests. luckily, my neighbor teenager Jenny comes and works for me. she needs to earn money and i need H-E-L-P BIG TIME.
