Dear god
So, I haven't had the internet since I last posted, and I haven't even had my computer for almost a week. I'm going nuts. PLUS...I just got a call from the computer people who are completely taking everything off my laptop, dejunking it and putting in more memory and a wireless card (which is fabulous)........but they haven't even STARTED it. I'm in Portland right now at home, but I'm going back to Eugene tomorrow night. Like, seriously, they haven't even started it yet? I swear to god, if I don't get my computer back I am going to kick some SERIOUS ass. My god, I'm not sure if I'll have ever been so pissed in my life. UGH.
On other notes, it's really nice to be out of the dorms and into an apartment. I already love cooking for myself. It's so much easier to have healthy yummy food and portion control. I don't feel like I'm losing wieght at all yet, but it has only been a week, so, we'll stick to it and hope for the best.
Mad Duck is going pretty well. I'm already bored of painting, sore in wierd places from bending over all the time and getting up and down off of the floor (we've been painting this HUGE drop). But, it's not too bad, and I occasionally get to see Chipper, which somehow makes it all worth it. Classes start on Monday, which SUCKS, but at least I'll be busy. You all know me pretty well and know that I can't just sit around all the time, and I've had almost NOTHING to do all day after I get home from Mad Duck...I'm already going stir crazy and it's only been a week. So, I will appreciate having something to fill my afternoons and evenings, even if it is homework.
Nathan has also been gone all week which was most likely adding to my boredom. But, he just got back last night, so he'll be there when I return tomorrow evening, and we'll finally get some time together. Probably too much time, since he's living with me, but I hope it's good. I think it will be.
I'm going to go sit down with a glass of wine and my kitty until my parents get home. My mom took my car in to get an oil change and they did something to the alignment or something so it'll run a bit better. While she did that, I went to the dentist which I HATE. I used to like the dentist, but ever since I started having the nightmares about my teeth falling apart and breaking, I HATE HATE HATE going in. So, that was a minor hell. But, now it's over and I'm having wine.
