3 [Accidental Video] Backdated to 4AM

[It was dark, terrifying, and in the distance the sounds of a million screams echoed off of the endless walls. Their cries for help, for mercy, were like distant memories. There was pain everywhere. [He was already awake, so though the sudden screaming from his PCD startled him, that was all. Upon grabbing the device and glancing over the video, it was pretty obvious what had happened; nightmares were expected, but his main concern was the Wall.]

Sam?

[He fumbles for his PCD, not really sure where it was and not really being able to see straight, but he finds it.]

[He nods. It didn't sound like Sam had brought the Wall down or anything--he seemed coherent enough--so that was good at least.]

Yes. Are you alright?

[Terrified? In pain? Alone?]

[He's quiet a moment, not sure what to say. But he's feeling the same way and talking to Sam is calming. Finally he makes a comment.]

If I were still able to stop them, I would.

[He nods minutely, slowly sitting up and resting his head on his bed.]

Thanks Cas. I just...[He pauses.] Hopefully they don't come too often, right?

[Ever since Castiel had his grace torn out and started sleeping they've been happening almost every night; he's surprised if Sam hasn't been having them.]

Most of the time they aren't too bad. Only passing feelings that I just jolt awake from. But tonight...

[He moves the PCD to fit the angle of his head.]

Did something happen today that might have prompted it?

I talked to Lucifer. It may have been what spurred the memory.

Avoiding Lucifer entirely is impossible. However, you should minimize contact with him.

[Why would you ever model your behavior after either of the Winchesters? At least Sam talks about how he feels. Sometimes.]

Yeah, I'll do my best. I shouldn't have called him out in the first place, I know that, but I didn't like how he was treating Rin.

It's understandable, but Rin his capable of taking care of himself and has allies who will assist him as well. You must pick and choose when it is truly worth engaging Lucifer for any reason.

[Again, he knows Sam knows. He's not entirely sure why he keeps talking, but he does anyway.]
