Ben is a cool kid; NHS sucks; Rediscovering good bands; Track is bad for the ego

NHS is lame. Almost no one got in. Yay for Faye, Erin and Becky, because they are nice and deserved to get in, but pooh, cuz no one else thats cool did. I'm bummin.
So, Track is bad for the ego. Poor Kory. He's bummed because he doesn't think he can do well, and I'm bummed because he feels that way. I know he can do awesome, he just needs to work at it, its new. I wish he'd believe me when I said that. I love him. He doesn't think I do, for some reason. As far as I know he's never doubted it before, but today he did. Thats really crappy.
I was scrolling through my media player, and I found a whole bunch of excellent bands I haven't heard in a while, Finch, Unwritten Law, Oasis, Incubus, Vertical Horizon etc.. Its pretty sweet. Andthey fit my mood too.
On a good note, I found the most hilarious gift for melinda ever: Cow patterned rainboots. They are hysterical. It's incredibly tempting to buy them for her birthday...IN DECEMBER. We will see how bovinely inspired she is then, but they are so her. Cracks me up.
