in america, each person has a tacit bubble that outside forces simply must not invade. perhaps like our heads, this bubble is too large. but if i stand 'too close' to someone, say, in an elevator or even look at him/her, i would be considered a creep. why? i think it's because people take themselves too seriously. they need to live with more abandon. my proposal is that we all start wearing vegetable costumes routinely. what a happy society this would be!
