TC 346 Final Project Post Mortem
Well the final project is done, and now we must reflect on its creation. Coming into the class knowing dreamweaver quite well, I resolved not to use dreamweaver to do the coding of the project. That died quickly, but I still coded the vast majority of the xhtml and the css in the code view of dreamweaver and a little bit of layout work was done inside the wysiwyg editor of dreamweaver. One major problem I had was getting the materials for the site in a timely matter. Since I had to wait for other people to get me pictures and information, sometimes I would be able to work on the site but I wouldn’t be able to work on it since I didn’t have the required materials. But it all got done in time, so it is ok now. There were some last minute changes made to the project, including the changing of text links on the page from the regular blue underlined to green with an underline when the mouse is over it. Overall I feel good about the project. It turned out good and most people I talked to enjoyed the design and layout of the pages. I like the fact that we got to learn CSS so I could use it on the project. I like now I am not dependent on roll overs to make interactive buttons and text. I enjoyed working on this project and I enjoyed this class. I hope to have you for TC 446 next year and thank you for a good semester.
