I went to bitchinparty and all I got was this lousy Legend of the Seeker obsession
WTF, universe?!? I blame 50mm. And the awesomeness of Kahlen. And the hotness of Richard. And the triple hotness of Kahlen AND Richard. And the beauty of New Zealand. And my exhaustion, which made me vulnerable to all of the above. But mostly 50mm. *shakes fist*
I was not sure I could go until the very last minute, but Murphy was doing so well that I could, and I'm so glad, because otherwise I would have missed out on:
I feel like I'm forgetting something important, but I'm tired, and I spent way too much time in the Seattle airport today thanks to flight delays because of bad weather in San Francisco YESTERDAY.
Less awesome things:
laurashapiro's flu, having to go to work tomorrow, and not having any more new Legend of the Seeker episodes to watch RIGHT NOW the parking ticket I got because I forgot to move my car before I left. Also being really behind on LJ/DW at this point. I can fix one of those things, at least.

- Catching up with my cousin, my uncle, and his partner, and a delicious dinner at Campagne Thursday night. Mmmm, duck.
- Getting to hang out with asta77, 50mm, simplystars,
sdwolfpup and Puplet, and brynnmck, and to meet a bunch of wonderful new people. - Being part of a group in the worldbuilding panel that came up with the most genius idea ever, which we are totally going to sell to SyFy for millions hundreds tens. In my head, the working title is Teeth of Salvation.
- greensilver's fantastic vid show.
- Watching Deadwood 2.01 with brynnmck. Also hot. And awkward. And painfully, painfully sad. Oh Seth.
- Getting a good and timely reminder of the collective wonder of fandom. Just one example is the way Seattle-area fans turned out in droves to shuttle people to and from the airport.
- Coming home to a happy, healthy puppydog, who had a good time with the dog walker while I was gone, and was very happy to see me, and has recovered a good 85% of his mobility in the last 9 days. He's even taking on the stairs on his own now, and we had a good walk this afternoon.
