I knew I'd seen that name on a dog somewhere before. This is a total Murphy's Law dog, so it seems to fit. He didn't know how to use stairs. He's still having a hilarious time with the back deck stairs, since they don't have risers and seeing through the steps seems to disconcert him. Heh.

Happy New Year!

I second Murphy, especially if he's already a Murphy's Law pup. :D Yay new doggie! &hearts

Murphy seems to be the consensus. I can't wait to tell D. that's the name I chose because my flist likes it. Heh.

Aw! Don't care if I can't see his face, I love his paws! So adorable. And I am such a sucker for play stance with their butts in the air.

Sounds like he's fitting in alright and big congrats on your newest family member! I also vote for Murphy. There's something about him that makes me think Murphy.

There are the occasional fireworks right now, but weirdly, my dog is not freaked. Maybe the snow that is also falling muffled it :)

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

He did pretty well with the fireworks; they were just more street noise that interested and concerned him, but he didn't freak out at all.

The rescue vet said he was about 2. Yeah, 2 going on PUPPY.

Sadly, he has already passed from thinking this new place is pretty interesting to being sad that we're not walking all the time. The honeymoon is over!

Thanks! We're in the "let's see how far I can push her" phase right now, but that's going about as I expected.
