Anyway, I'm back from Las Cruces. I had a really good trip, despite the fact that the BFF from high school, who has a serious but very hard to explain medical condition, was fairly sick most of the time. We fell right back into it, as if the last time we'd talked was last week instead of 15 years ago; I'm so glad I've found her again. Also, there were Hatch green chile rellenos. Also also, I pimped her (and her mom!) into Arrested Development, so my work there is done. Let us not speak of my work here, which is the opposite of done. It took me most of today to get through my email.
I'm in the process of applying to adopt this dog, and if it works out, 2010 is going to be very different than 2009 was.
