Belated happy birthday to swsa, and _jems_, and sugargroupie!

I'm back from the family visit, which featured lots and lots of sleep but very little computer time, and trying to work through a mile-long to-do list before going back to work. It turns out that sleep deficits pack a bigger wallop at 35 than 25--who knew? ( What I did on my Christmas vacation )

It sounds like it was a most excellent birthday.

I had a total "Duh!" moment on my last day in Birmingham that I should have emailed you to see if it were possible to get together, but between the holidays and your birthday and everything else, I don't know if it was even possible anyway. Maybe next time?

That would be fun. Every time you talked about going home I had that same delayed moment where I went, "That's right, Alison *was* close by!" So, yeah, next time we should get together for lunch or something.

I had a suggestion for you to get your brother to make Alyson change her name, but then I realized it may scar *you* for life.

I can't even recall the last time I read fic. And, yeah, it's not the writers, it's me. Of course, the fact that my show has been on hiatus since March 2007 doesn't help. :p
