people piss me off
For those of you who came to my birthday, thank you. For those of you who didnt, also thank you.. i know now how much or little i actually mean to you..
I know that some of my friends are out of town right now.. so they are excused. What bothers me are those who say they will come and than dont show up. Or those who dont even RSVP. What is up with that?
Im just sick and tired of always hearing excuses from people and always being the laid back person. It used to be that i got upset at people when they did this sort of thing to me. Now it doesnt faze me- at least it didnt until tonight.
I just hate the fact that if i had acted the same way that some of my friends acted tonight, i would be reemed out or bitched out for it.
Why is there a double-standard for me?
I know its my birthday.. but that is important to me! Its obviously not important to others..
Its not like a get together that was perpetrated by some need of togetherness. This is my birthday
I did have a good time, regardless of the misunderstanding at the restaurant we went to and the sauna-like-conditions at the club.
But i will tell you the good things later..
i dont think that is a lot to ask to have people call me. But not just call, be honest about why you are not attending. If you dont want to go, dont say you will in the first place. It saves a lot of heartache later..
Maybe i take things to seriously.. but this day was my party.. in the past people have forgotton me.. my own family has forgotton.. but it never seems to go uncelebrated with others.
Ive had it.. no more birthdays.. thats it.. no one will come anyway.. whats the point?
I am drunk, old and bitter.. And extreamly dissapointed.. perhaps when you are all my age, you will understand..
