Thoughts About Substance Abuse

I think you've put your finger on an important point--addiction is a disease, true, but it's also often a symptom of something else going on. And if your personal issues lead to a problem with (for instance) alcohol, and then that substance is no longer available to you, what's to stop you just moving on to something else? Alcohol doesn't work for you anymore, but you still feel miserable, so why not try meth? Or something. Yes, most certainly. Feel free to add me. Although as you can see, I haven't done a whole lot here either. I do think blogging looks fun, though; a chance to talk about things going around in my head that I want to share but can't for whatever reason.
