We didn't do it

OOC: Hello, all and sundry! I bring to you all an open thread, in which time shall have no meaning, and all comers will be welcomed. Miki and Nikki are hanging out in her flat in Northampton, chillin' after a day of errand running. And it just so happens that one of her house-mates has lent her a copy of Chrono Cross.

Which of course will lead to naught but crack and snark. So again, please feel free to jump in and have a go ^^

After a day of being out in any sort of weather, there’s a point where even the most awesome of puddles lose their charm and it becomes time to head in for a time. Preferably, this change in activity leads to good company, warm drinks and decent entertainment of some form or another. And, should one manage two out of the three, that’s not so bad either.

For all intents and purposes, it would seem that Nikki and Miki have achieved just that, on this fine spring afternoon. The both of them sprawling out on a futon that’s been pulled out to ‘bed’ position, drinks on the floor and a good natured scuffle over who gets the video game controller going on.

Minutes later, its settled with Miki at the controls and the boy flopping on his back, gaining a fresh perspective on a familiar world. “You know, I never thought I’d be saying this, but your bum looks right jaggy.”

“Ren says that’s due to a low ‘poly-count’,” her voice rises a touch at the end, like hell she knows what that means, exactly. There’ll be time for finding that out later. “I just can’t believe they don’t have Serge saying a bloody thing. Much sadness.”

“Much sadness indeed.”
