I just found me old copy of Everything But The Girl's "Back To Mine" mix.
Ah, such memories. The Beth Orton song is amazing! I was just thinking how much life would suck without music. It's truly one of my greatest joys in life and I don't think I could make it without it. There's always something to lift my mood or move me with some type of emotion, even give me goose bumps. I truly do like a little bit of everything. I was listening to Boards of Canada's "Pete Standing Alone" at work today. That song gives me such a feeling I don't even know how to describe. I think Shawn Colvin's "Fat City" has become one of my favorite albums. And, I'm not ashamed to admit that Prince's "Pussy Control" is one of my favorites lately. I was listening to Bjork's "Who Is It," the bell remix earlier. I never get tired of that song! Although, I like the original better. To me, it is all about love, dedication, loyalty and emancipation. The bells just seem so fitting. I feel giddy for some reason...must be the music! hehee Okay, enough dorkiness for one evening....♫
