I'm back at work and there are more retarded festivities in our department. Apparently, it's Associate Appreciation Week and the theme is sports, specifically being an "MVP." I got a certificate saying that I was an MVP, but so did everyone else, so apparently we're all the "most" valuable player. Isn't that special? Yeah, what the fuck ever. There is a management bulletin board decorating contest and the judges were walking around today to pick the winner. I wonder what the grand prize will be? A candy bar? But, what really takes the cake is seeing a manager wear face paint. I kid you not. Seriously, who the fuck comes up with this bullshit? Oh, and we all got little basketball keychains. Yay! Rather than being disgusted like I used to at how freaking stupid it is, I now take great delight in the retardation and just sit back and laugh at the sheer idiocy of it all. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to review writeoffs for people in India. Fun times.....
