Happy New Year!
Well, I'm a little late on this. But I figured I had to do a post any which way.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
How has 2008 been so far, you ask? I guess it's been fine (minus all the school work/projects that are due in the next 2 weeks).
Alright, so I've never been the kind of person to sit down and think about the past and feel all nostalgic. But it's different this time. Back in 2007, I was hoping time would pass by quickly so I could get over and done with all the crap. As the new year begins, I think back of 2007 and all the wonderful memories and I certainly couldn't ask for a better year.
American Idol Season 6 was definitely the highlight of 2007 for me, as is with many others, I'm sure. Through this last season of Idol, we have been introduced to so many different talents. And not just that, but a group of people with awesome personality and camaraderie.
To Jordin, Blake, Melinda, Lakisha, Chris Rich, Phil, Sanjaya, Haley, Gina and Chris Sligh ... thank you for making my year! <3
To all the wonderful people I've known because of Idol ... I love you guys! <3
Forging ahead, I hope I can forget about all the mistakes, misgivings and regrets from this past year and work towards a successful 2008.
