I managed to avoid posting about Day 2 until Day 3. *sigh* At least I remembered (right before I was about to close my computer and crawl into bed).
Today was okay. I think I'll have an easier time being Bleachless if my brain is more coherent, but it still isn't as tempting as I thought it might be. I did kind of wish I could start writing a new fanfiction, but I already wrote the idea down a long time ago, so I don't need to work on it or think about it.
My praying was definitely a little more focused today, so I'll keep using the plan I made yesterday for that.
My church's high school girls Bible study was this evening. We're going through a book called "Lies Young Women Believe", by Nancy Leigh DeMoss and Dannah Gresh. There's a whole website about the book, so I'll post it right
here. The book is actually really cool and I'd love to talk about it now, but I really need to sleep because I have an early class tomorrow.
I do have one funny thing about today before I go, though. I was looking up NCIS (a TV show) on IMDb, and I looked at the "goofs" (basically, mistakes that usually either the writers or cast make). To quote from
this page:
In an episode of NCIS, the team discusses the difference between ash and maple bats, explaining that ash, while more popular, tend to explode rather than just make a clean break like maple bats. In reality, it's the maple bats that explode, while ash bats make clean breaks.
This whole paragraph made no sense to me for a few minutes. Because flying nocturnal mammals can't spontaneously combust!
Then I realized that they were talking about sports equipment.
Goodnight all. I'll be back tomorrow!
