And this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart. I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart.

It started raining on me today, and instead of it ruining my spirits as getting rain on usually does, it made me smile. If there weren’t people around me I would have danced. I had the strangest urge to just dance today! And as I felt the rain fall on my face, all I could think about was dancing in the rain. It put a smile on my face, something that hasn’t happened in a while. I don’t know what it was about this particular rain (that lasted maybe a minute or two by the way) but it just made things so much clearer. For the first time in I don’t know when, I was happy for no damn reason. I couldn’t stop smiling. I feel like the rain has washed away the blues, at least for now and damn it feels good. I had this all elequontely written in my head on the walk from the bus stop, but now I can’t remember it. All I know is for the first time in many months, I feel like my old self. And have I missed her! I hope this random feeling of elation sticks around, because I need it a lot.

Now onto my weekend. It was my first up at school in a month, and it was weird being here. On Friday I went to the mall and Target for a while. I got an adorable outfit at the mall, which I can’t wait to wear. Of course, I have no where to wear it, but still… Also, what is it about me that makes all cell phone kiosk guys try and sell me a second phone? It’s happened twice now! Leave me the heck alone! I also went to Target and bought The Santa Clause and Merry Christmas Charlie Brown which I love and I am so happy to have on DVD. The crappy old taped off TV version we have at home is not fun to watch.

MSU v. Purdue was on Saturday. I went with Marietta and we met up with her friends Sam and David. The game was as I expected, and we left at Halftime. A part of me felt bad for leaving because there was no one at the game to begin with, but it wasn’t fun, it was cold, and the others were leaving. The ended up losing in the 4th quarter. They had a few too many missed opportunities. Like after the Purdue touchdown that got called back and then MSU had a chance, and they didn’t score, I knew it was over. That was their chance. That was their “turning point.” Oh well. One more home game. I guess I hope I actually have someone to go with. Marietta isn’t going because she’s got something else going on. We’ll see…

On our walk back to the parking lot, we saw some guy get chased by the MSU police. It was hilarious! Why do people insist on running from the cops? He was basically surrounded. He ran through a parking lot that is surrounded by streets, a block away from the stadium and therefore was swarming with cops. It was funny.

I had my Disney movie marathon on Friday, and I watched a couple of movies on ABC Family on Saturday. It was a lazy weekend. I need to crack down and get some homework stuff done fast. Next weekend can’t go like last one did.
