Diane was an amazing woman. As Cory said, "she had the ability to meet so many people through her laughter." Nothing could be more true about this amazing woman.
The first time I met Diane I was 15. She came up to me with a huge smile and said, "Hi, I'm Diane. How would you like to be the Vice President of the JB?" And of course I answered, "what is JB?" Then she replied with something along the lines of "oh its just a bunch of kids that hang out; don't worry it's not much work."
That is how my involvement with CISV began. This incredible, friendly woman changed my life. I never forgot it. And as the years went on Diane was always the same fun, lighthearted person I had met on that first day. I have so many memories of Diane trying to talk my mom into picking up guys. I remember last year we were working at the world of nations at the CISV booth, we had to stamp everyone's 'passport' and Diane saw this cute guy. So what does she do? Somehow (because only Diane could get away with this) she talked him into letting her stamp his ass.
Luckily it was just her and I at the booth and I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair until she tried to get me to do it too! haha I'll never forget that.
Diane always lived life to the fullest. She never let an opportunity pass her by. I've never met anyone as comfortable in their own skin as her. Even when things didn't go her way; she never complained, she never allowed anyone to make her feel bad about herself or her situation. A lot of girls could learn so much from her example. Diane, you will be missed, you will be remembered and you will always be loved.
