graduation and other happenings
so sitting on the field at graduation as a grey-gown yesterday, i really got to thinking.... one year from now, i'll be the one sitting in my graduation gown, walking up to the stage to get my diploma. i'll be the one saying goodbye to my teachers and classmates. i'll be the one celebrating because high school is over.
one year from now, i'll have everything layed out in front of me. i'll know if i'm going to toss my stuff into the back of a van and cart it up to UW, or if i'm going to pack my entire life into suitcases and fly it somewhere else. one year from now, i'll have made that terrible decision that i dread being confronted with.
i don't want to just stay around here. i want to go places, see new things, meet new people. but in the end, i do want to stay here. i love it here in washington. i want to go somewhere else, but i don't want to put down roots there, because when the time comes, i'll have to pull up those roots and come back. the problem is, i want to get away, but i don't want to stay away.
one year from now i'll know.

in other news, gramma and mom took me to the brooks outlet store to finally get some new running shoes. also while i was at the supermall, i found a beautiful swing dress, but after weighing my options, i decided $40 was too much for a dress i'd only wear a few times anyway.
i'm excited to go write math questions on thursday - tomorrow!! i'd kinda like to start my summer off right, with a huge party and sleeping in til noon. but i'd also like to get away for a while. three days should be perfect.
