Today's Dilbert moment

I received a page from the circulation desk that the group in one of our meeting rooms needed help setting up the equipment.  We have a built in sound and projection system which is operated from a panel on the wall.  When I entered the room, I saw that the projector was on and projecting onto the wall since the screen had not been lowered from the ceiling.  The presenter told me that he couldn't get the screen to come down.  I held the button until the screen began to lower, and all was well.  His next question was, "How do I get it to stop?"  I assured him that the screen would stop by itself when it was fully lowered.
Now this kind of incident is not at all rare, considering the number and types of groups who use our meeting rooms.  What made this one stand out for me was that the group is (wait for it):  The Northcoast Helpdesk Institute.  Why am I not surprised?
