(no subject)
so what a greeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaat week i've been having!!!!! and it's only wednesday!
monday wasn't so bad i guess, nothing really happened. but tuesday was pretty much the worst day of my life. i left my dorm to take my computer science midterm right after most of the east coast released their results. so i wasn't terribly upset going into the midterm. then the midterm kicked my ass. it was so freaking hard, i didn't even come close to finishing it. then i get back to my room and bush had already won the entire fucking south and midwest. so i spend the rest of the night shaking and pacing back and forth between the tv in the lounge and my computer where i had cnn.com, newyorktimes.com, and sfgate.com all open trying to get the most accurate projections. i called my mom who was in philadelphia doing last minute campaigning and i actually started crying when i was talking to her. i am seriously concerned for our country.
i just have one question for anyone who voted based on the issue of abortion: how is it ok to send americans into iraq, and kill thousands of civilians in addition to our own soldiers who die, but it's wrong to kill a couple hundred cells in order to salvage the quality of life of a teenage girl who made a stupid mistake?
if someone can actually manage a logical answer to that, you get a lot of credit.
and now daschle's gone too, what is this world coming to? maybe i'll move to italy.
