Treat Machine
I have a light cold, and although it's no big deal, i really didn't want to get up today. for fear of losing the habit of getting up at a decent time, i only allowed myself to sleep in till 8am (vs. the normal 7:30). I did my normal routine, stumbled around the kitchen, then came back to my room and plopped down on the floor. I woke up to heavy breathing and my feet being warmed by dog breath. I'd like to think that Pamina was being noble and lying at my feet to make sure i was okay, but i think i know better. My pile of laundry was near my feet, and i'm guessing she was actually waiting for me to wake up and give her my laundry so that she could get it to laundryroom for a treat. *sigh* I groggily got to my feet, and sure enough, Pamina grabbed some clothes and waited for me to signal it was ok. She got her treat. Who's trained who?
My poor doggy is getting old. Her back legs don't always respond as they should and they get really stiff when she's been lying down for a long time. It looks more neurological than arthritic to me, although i know it's both. when she walks her back end sort of looks drunk because her hind legs sort of totter around and get tangled up in each other. awww, my poor baby. but she still has a young spirit. she just 100 times more spoiled now.
This last episode of blood ties has been my favorite so far. and wow, hot ending. I made the mistake of watching a spoiler on YouTube and now i'm wishing I hadn't. the spoiler was dubbed in Russian, so i didn't entirely understand what was going on but from what i saw ...it was shocking and now i want to know what really happens. and that episode isn't for another 4 weeks! gaaahhh!
