Look, this may seem trivial and whatnot, but who gives a crap? This is my livejournal and if you don't like it, then you could go somewhere. Since moving to New York, I've found myself becoming increasingly lonely. In Florida, where most of my friends and family reside, I would've just went to my bestie and we could sit there and go off. But, I'm not in Florida and my bestie doesn't have a phone so I'll rant on here.
I was just on Youtube, listening to some emo music (Broken by Seether). Most people like emo because of the meaningful lyrics and the relatability of the musicians. You feel for them, and feel like they understand your troubles and insecurities. When you comment on Youtube, you're supposed to say how the music makes you feel, whether or not you like it, etc. SO CAN SOMEBODY EXPLAIN TO ME WHY SOME OF THESE PEOPLE FEEL THE NEED TO SIT THERE IN THE COMMMENTS SECTION AND WHINE ABOUT "JEREMEY" WHAT'S-HIS-FACE NOT LOVING THEM? Is that relevant to anything?!!!!! Okay, so the song makes you think about "Jeremey", but why do I care? Maybe that's the reason he left you, cuz you stay tryna tell him things he don't care about. Before y'all go nuts, I do sympathize with the person, but there's honestly nothing I can do for yoou. You determine what goes down in your life. My advice: Get up, go out and resolve your conflicts, instead of crying about it on YouTube.
And another thing, why is everybody always tring to sell themselves in the comments section? If I wanted to go check out your music, then I would already be on your channel, checking out your music. These aspiring singer, rappers, etc. need to let nature take its course, and prepare for dissapointment because 80% of the FAIL! If you somehow, by the grace of God, actually make it on top, realistically, how long are you going to last? There's a time for everything under the Sun and for every beginning there is an end. Therefore, go to school, get your degrees, and have a friggin back-up plan in the likely event that things don't go your way!
Lastly, why do people always make omments about the artist as if they know them? For example: Harry Styles hates [insert stupid thing]. How would you know? Have you met him? No, you haven't and don't be like: Well in an interview... PEOPLE LIE!!! WE ARE LIARS! IT IS IN OUR NATURE! I can't stand when papparazzi stalk the lives of these celebrities. Really? Go get a life, instead of gossiping about other people's lives. Which brings me to my next point.
The comments section is not the place for you to bash a celebrity. They are human like you and me and they make mistakes. Why do we expect them to be role models? That's not in their job description. My knowledge of celebrities begins and ends with what movie they are playing in next, okay?
What are your YouTube comments pet peeves? What irks you?
#ARE Y'ALL HYPE? 'CUZ I'M HYPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
