After three classes today, went home and chilled for a bit.
Got picked up by Lisa DiB and Jenna (who blatantly could not find my house and backed down my street as I chased the car), and we then went to Chestnut Hill Mall and were incredibly ditzy (as in, spent a LOT of time at the huge new Jasmine Sola).
They dropped me off at school so I could have some rehearsal, which was okay.
Went to Newton Highlands where I ate with Martha,
and then we went to.......
It was incredible.
The opening act was a guy with drum pads on his shirt and shoes, two keyboards across him, and a headset with which he could make lead guitar sounds with his mouth. He did an AC/DC medley and just generally was ridic. cool. Such a Beck opening act, in any case.
Beck had a great set with the best songs (there are so many! I never realized.) and the audience loooved it. I was so excited that he played the three best from Midnite Vultures because that's completely my favorite album. MUST get Sea Change and ALL of Guero immediately.
The band had a dinner party onstage and then did this Stomp-esque jam with utensils/glasses/plates. Yesss.
We met these two cool kids from Berklee, and ended up walking from the pavilion to South Station with them, getting so lost. Danny and Will, why are you so silly?? Martha and I intend to go to Jamiroquai.
So, I'll be way past tired tomorrow. It's worth it.
