prompt 'forces of nature versus nurture'
I really wanted to post this as a voice, as reading it aloud would convey it in the fashion I desired. But alas I do not have a paid account, thus.....
This prompt is a stumper,I do admit.
For something to this theme,
I am remiss
in creating, poetry,
prose, or story.
Stumped, befuddled,
head scratching and frustration.
Who thought of this,
can I ask for a retraction?
Give me something else
I plead.
A better theme,
a different seed,
for the creation of words to paper.
(or computer screen, whichever is your caper)
So my friends, this is what you get.
A plea, a whine, a complaint.
"POOR ME!"
I'm stumped, so here you go.
A very bad poem,
with awful prose.
Hopefully the next prompt will spur me unfettered,
to create something that is this poems better.
