Stop Yelling At Me
I wish that people would treat me normally. So what if I can't hear very well. I am the one that has to deal with it. I have had this problem since I was a kid and it is not going to go away anytime soon. If I need you to repeat something, don't be mean about it. Repeat it and get over it. I can't help the way God made me. I can't change it, so just accept me for me. I can read lips, but sometimes I need people to speak up. I am just as normal as every other person on this planet. Yes, I have a hearing disability, but that doesn't make me any more different from someone that needs glasses/contacts to see. BTW: I am one of those people.
