Dakkar is equally bejewelled, although the spices on his skin are almost entirely rubbed off by now. He looks at her solemnly.

She pauses in her spinning, dizzy, and would sit on the ground to regain her breath if she did not see him -- but she does, and so she straightens her posture and attempts to look regal. "Good day."

"Hello."

"What is your name?" It isn't a pleasantry -- just something she wants to know.

[prince_des_mers]

"Dakkar." He studies her. "What is yours?"

[danceinblood]

"I am Salome." She waits, as if recognition is sure to follow.

[prince_des_mers]

...Nope. "What is your country?"

[danceinblood]

"Judea." This should be obvious, her expression seems to say.

[prince_des_mers]

His expression back clearly says 'oh?' with a hint of 'so what?'.

She frowns a little. "And you? From whence have you come?"

[prince_des_mers]

And the solemn glitter of black eyes. "India."

"I know it not."

[prince_des_mers]

"It is far away from many countries. There are jungles."

"Jungles?" She looks a little disdainful. "Why, they must be full of beasts!"

[prince_des_mers]

"Yes. There are many Tigers." Such dark eyes!

"Tigers!" A shudder. "Such things should not be."
