Ugh! Rogue assassins! Er, more like, last-minute hired ones. Anyway, I'm out of the game. It was fun while it lasted.
Moving on...I'd like to talk about something a little more personal...
Who's business is this? Is it theirs? No. Is it ours? YES!! It's our relationship! I don't want our relationship to be dictated by what others may think or say. We need to be examples, we need to live in a way that doesn't cause others to stumble, but...I...am...so...frustrated!! Honest concerns from friends are much appreciated, but all this gossip, the rumors, the second-guessing and the speculation--it all needs to stop!!! It's destructive to everyone!! Lord, give us wisdom and discernment in this situation. And, PLEASE pacify me, calm my heart, give me peace. Isaiah 26:3--"You keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in you."
