Summer
So this summer is flying by so fast, and I really would rather it not go soo fast. I want to enjoy this last summer of freedom, without having to worry about taking a summer course or stuff like that.
Becky left 2 weeks ago, and it was sad. It made me think that I'm going to have to do that a few more times this summer when all of us leave for college, and I know I'm ready to go college, but I also know I'm going to miss all my closest friends from here. I guess this is all a part of life and I just want to spend time with everyone before I leave.
Orientation was Friday through today and I had a blast. I am super excited to go to Marywood, I can't wait, its going to be so much fun. I met a bunch of new friends that I will definately stay friends with hopefully for the next 4 years. I fell in love with the school even more than I already was, if that's possible. This whole weekend was just such a great experience, learning about everything and anything. Staying up til 3:30am and getting up at 6:45am, getting locked out of my room at 2:00 am and sitting in the hallway goofing off til security came to open all the doors on the second floor. Eating ice cream out of a rain gutter, making a pillowcase, forming bonds with new friends, adding/dropping my first classes from my schedule, singing at mass today and getting told by the nun next to me who is the voice teacher "you really should join the choir in the fall", and deciding that in the spring I will also start a dance minor. It was really an awesome experience this weekend and I cant wait for August 23 to see all these people again and form new memories during Prep '11 the week before classes. All I know is i definately made the right choice in Marywood, I feel like I belong there 100%.
Yes, I know I said above that I want the summer to go slower and I jsut said i cant wait, they're both true, I want it to go slower so I can get to see and hang out with everyone before school, and quicker because I can't wait to meet back up with my new friends.
