Monster Mash
I just totes gorged on Jewel of India double combo butter chicken and chickpea masala with rice. I feel…sick. Very sick.
So last night was Halloween!!!! I had a less than good afternoon so wasn’t really feeling like going out, especially on a “school night”. My idea to be a Pierrot clown was squashed due to me being slightly afraid of dressing up like a clown, no matter how cute/80s this one was. Also, the polka dot tunic I was going to wear was quite unflattering. So I opted for a strange theme of “circus cat” which in other words meant a cat mask and a big white frill to go around my neck (from the clown costume). I also wore black gloves and a bling ring. I think I looked quite glamorous actually. I rolled up to the club in my chauffeured ride (cab) to find I was 1 out of 5 people there, and the only one is costume. Luckily Nina (also a cat), Kate (covered in blood) and Steff (something from Lord of the Rings though she said Zelda but I know better) soon showed up and the rollicking good times began! Nina and I were in the toilets sneakily drinking our own alcoholz and there was this girl there. Nina randomly poured some alcoholz into her cup and we started talking. There was a Wall re-launch poster on the wall and we told her she should come to it with us, then she pointed at S.Y.L.K’s name on the poster and said, I played with them once. We then cried: WE’RE them!! And then, in a glorious Nancy Drew moment everything clicked and I recognized who she was, and yelled out: I KNOW WHO YOU ARE! You’re from Cassette Kids!!
And I was right. Kat became our fast friend, and we spent the rest of the night dancing and taking photos, and may I just say, she is the most photogenic person I have ever met, even when drunk and covered in blood (fake). It was a really fun night, and there were some amazing costumes, including one I was pretty sure was made by Romance Was Born, and of course, Levins’ ice cream outfit.
I am really tired this morning though. Daylight savings is painful.
