puking all day and feeling like shit is the best way to get ready for applying for a new visa. take it from me. i'm an expert.
stomach flu is an unforgiving fucker.
they gave me another appointment and an extension, some other insurance paper and some other tax paper, blah blah blah... when you're running a fever and you haven't eaten or slept properly in two days and your whole body feels like it wants to expel itself violently, taxes and insurance really don't hold your attention. what i got from the conversation was that i'm supposed to make more money. and i can't study at a university with this visa, hm.
some days are just like this: you feel like everything is gonna go down bad or weird and you've prepared yourself, people tell you don't be negative, but since you know already, it's just a good thing to be on your game- and then because you know it's gonna happen, you know that the next time or the next day will be better.
today were more presentations in the deutsch course. you can talk about anything you want as long as you're speaking well, and so far the other students have done some historical figures, the sun, current events and whatever. today took the cake though, with a very vivid account of playing world of warcraft and a girl who has a chinchilla as a pet, but basically did her report on how to kill a chinchilla, skin it properly and make a fur coat, complete with gruesome photos from a book with polish sub titles. check the weird box.
there are six extra french people in my house. they are loud, they shower a lot, they cooked massive amounts of chicken in the middle of the night and i don't know what the fuck to do with them. other than let them run their course. they barely speak english and no german. the only thing is that they keep me up till i have only three hours of sleep and play the same techno song on repeat for their whole midnight mealtime, thus making my usually serene editing hours of operation a total wreck. i hope my reports were ok, i looked them over at 7am and sent them off. finally at 2am they all left the house and returned at some ungodly hour, and when i got back from class i thought oh, lovely, i have time for a nap! just in time for them to wake up and start the process over again... no sleep till neukölln ya'll.
finally paid the tax man.
editing for two nights o ya.
must pay dr. bills.
going to an art studio tomorrow to maybe get help from some old arty bat with my portfolio. yes.
three days off... what? i'm hitching to poland/holland/prague bitches!
