(no subject)
It's an absolutely beautiful fall day. The leaves are in full color, the reds oranges and yellows against the sky are like the last warmth before winter. I would be extremely content if it weren't for the homework factor. But i'm still happy, and planning on going on a long walk leaf searching, and up witham to get my share of the pumpkin pie.
This weekend has been really nice. Friday after school we all piled into bryants car and drove to the bean. I love getting Poo's Picnics, they are the perfect amount of hot chocolate, and they make me happy. Bryant and I left eventually and went to his house to take a nap, play wii and make dinner. Party plans went to hell, instead we watched Road Warior on bryants projector with kat, stuart, theresa, matt, malory, ryan, conner and haidan. conner, ryan and haidan left early, ryan was sleepy and i guess conner and haidan had something better to do.
Yesterday was pie. Strawberries, raspberries, marie calendars, and pumpkin mush. They turned out to be delicious, but the strawberry one fell apart in the transfer. I brought pie to bryant, and we watched Hitch on television. I've never watched a movie on television before, and it has to be the most frustrating thing ever. Eventually people called and told us to come to a party at Kerry's. We drove out by the old waldorf school. Kerry has a big house, with a bigger property, and a lot of nice things. Most people were already wasted (probably because it was eleven.) It was an interesting mix of people, and the absolute cliche of "high school party." I laughed a lot, and had nothing to drink.
I'm going to take it easy today. Start out on my yoga mat, return to my unfinished book, go on a walk, indulge in fall and maybe have another staring contest with my blank canvas (I think i'm getting somewhere.)
