Dear Scorekeeper,
Please add the following to the list of "Stupid Things To Do Before I Die", and mark it as completed:
*Set your hair on fire while smoking pot from an apple.
(You may feel pangs of stupidity in solidarity for me. That's okay.)
Also, I have a new user pic. To be honest, the main purpose of this post is to show it off.
I suspect that there may be some people who would be vaguely interested in knowing I'm not dead, too.
So, I'm not. Still alive and kicking. Drinking coffee, riding bikes, drinking beer, skating on frozen rivers, having sleepovers, and congradulating myself on wearing more mud then the rode does.
This here city of Winnipeg is quite the black hole, I must say... I'm amazed by it's ability to prevent people from escaping.
There's a fellow in town these days by the name of Baltimore Adam (Guess where he's from originally). He's been here for about a month, and has spent nearly half that time trying to go home. He keeps saying he's getting on a bus the next day, that night, etc., but then two days later, you see him again! His luggage was unaccessable at a friend's house, he slept in, the bus wasn't running, he wanted to stay one extra day for a show... No matter the reason, he doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I love the guy.
