Sometimes, not so clever things take place.
Tonight, that not so clever thing is watching a romantic, sappy movie, causing one to go 'awww' a lot, and grin while the movie is playing, but wallowing in loneliness once it's over.
Which is silly, since I'm not really lonely. I've got lots of friends and such.
However, it's currently too late to talk to any of them, so instead I find myself focusing on the lack of any sort of romance in my life. Bah.
Best not to watch a movie that has at least half a dozen happy endings, when you've got nobody to snuggle with afterwards.
And, while enjoyable, drinking milk and cream liquor isn't a very satisfying alternative.
Perhaps I need more? Nah, that's just silly.
But then again, so is this whole post. Whine whine whine, says I.
And to top it off, Pandora Internet Radio choose to play an Elliott Smith song just now. Always a sure way to cheer you up. Heh.
Ah well, all will be better sooner or later.
