The man on the elevator, after sighing and setting down his bag, turned to me and said "Don't get old", with a smile on his face.

And yet, that is something I wish everyone to experience.

Because today the alternative is less of an abstract concept, and more of a fact.

I cannot begin to imagine how it must feel, to have one's plans so horribly and suddenly thrown askew.

Dispite the lack of a consistant friendship, or regular communication, or anything of that sort, I mourn, in my own quiet, thoughtful way.

And the thoughts contained in that thoughtful manner are directed towards those who are suddenly faced with a hole of sorts, where recently, there was a person.

My words cannot do justice.
