We can't live forever as this carbon based shell we're in, and I'm sure that in 60 years time you would not want to live forever in the shell you possess. Wear and tear ravages our bodies and there are no exceptions, our bodies will decay and be eaten by the worms whether we like it or not (unless you're cremated or something). We can't live forever as what we are, but we do live forever as what we do. Our ethereal presence will continue to linger on this world as we pass to the next (if you believe there's a next). The aura of our being will stay here, a permanent mark on the world, affecting everything that will ever be. So even though you can't live forever, you can take comfort in knowing that you changed the world.
