Oh, the places you'll go

It's been quite a whirlwind tour, but I'm on my last round of transport. The family will pick me up back in Canberra. It's raining which is a bit of a shock to the system after some serious sunshine the last days.

It's been two days but it feels like about 200.

Here's a dot point list of all the things I'v done lately

- Dropped off at airport around midday
- flew to Brisbane, business class
- Got into the city, played footbag with Caroline by the Southbank pool. It was packed. Had a splash in the pool
- Drank some beers and that added Viv and Bret to our crew and had dinner
- Caught a train, tram, bus to get me to Tweed Heads. Waited for three hours
- Bus to Lennox Head. I was the only passenger up until Byron Bay.
- Stayed with Dad and the aunites. They were already up there. Took a walk along the beach
- Went to Lismore for the funeral at the cathedral. Long service. Nearly fell asleep on multiple occassions.
- The graveside service was much nicer.
- Went to the wake. Caught up with many relatives that I haven't seen in many years, or might not have met.
- Came back to the house, had some dinner and drinks, slept on the couch
- Swim in the beach, walk through the town, swim in the lake
- Plane back to Sydney
- At McDonalds for lunch
- Bus to Canberra. That's where I'm writing to you from.
