Without wings
Today is an ugly day. Ugggggggggggggllllllllllllllllyyyy. Cold, looks like it has been raining a bit and just generally not impressive. Of course on those kind of days it is difficult to get motivated. In reality it is difficult to get motivated on many days.
I had a very good sporting day yesterday, went to play Aussie Rules, although our team lost, I kicked a couple of goals and had a good time. It was only a small turnout, but we managed a 6 on 6 game, which worked quite well - 2 attackers, 2 in the middle and 2 defenders. We were even up until the 3rd quarter, but the other team ran away with it. What was best is that there were probably more Chileans than Australians in the game. Maybe about even.

After playing, I went to watch the soccer with John. The previous night we had a very nice dinner with Helen and Anthony, who used to living in our place, as well as John and Maria, and our niece Magdalena, who just turned 18. Anyway, the dinner went well and the football went well for John, with Unión Española carrying home the trophy.
The video above shows the fan reaction, they were pretty excited. Unfortunately the sound quality is very low, as it was just from the phone. On Friday night I went to the U de Chile match with Billy. It was quite boring, they had put themselves out of contention for the title the week before, and finished up losing, though we had left before that.
What else is new? Not a lot. Looks like I will be starting some classes with an institute and hopefully I get a call about a job in a school. Have some other little bits and pieces happening, but nothing is set in stone at all, which leaves me in the usual financially precarious situation.
I just applied for two jobs, either one could be quite good, both sports related gigs. At this moment I just really need any job and then can go on from there. I need something that is reliable, would be nice if it was flexible, but that's not a necessity. The real need is the flow of money into my bank account, which is really just not happening of late. Actually, it hasn't been of late. There has been a great flow out (especially when compared to in) during the last two years.
