James Hird or James Joyce
I decided to get back in to reading Ulysses. I don't think I have made any progress this year. I read another book, The Secret History, in the course of the weekend. This one I started midway through last year, and have made it to about 300 pages. There are a lot more to come...
Anyway, here is a passage from it
The figure seated on a large boulder at the foot of a round tower was that of a broadshouldered deepchested stronglimbed frankeyed redhaired freely freckled shaggybearded wide-mouthed largenosed longheaded deepvoiced barekneed brawnyhanded hairylegged ruddyfaced sinewyarmed hero.
Despite being a "classic", I don't think that's the way you're meant to do it...
