Went to the beach this morning, after driving around to a number of beaches with minimal success, we settled on going out at Tathra. The spot we went out at is often called "The Pole" because when you came from the carpark, there was a big pole in the sand. However, there hasn't been a pole there for over 10 years I don't think.
Anyhow, the waves were a good size for me, as I haven't been out for a while, probably 2-3 foot. I caught some really fun waves, had a lot of fun in general. I had a bit of a life plan worked out, which subsuequently changed completely just a couple of hours later. That plan was basically...move out of current house, store shit here, crash at friends places/the hostel until I go to worlds, come back, quit my job, move home, study to be a teacher at the Bega campus of UOW. The plan had a lot of "maybe" and "hopefully" in it. But it seemed to be a plan that would let me live quite cheaply.
Anyhow, coming back into town I got a message from Kate sayign she is planning to move out. So I decided I will just stay in my current place, take a bed/mattress/something to sleep on, and get someone else to move in. That could work well. Maybe when I go overseas I could just get a backpacker to rent my room or something along those lines. I don't really have anything valuable they could steal. Mum and Dad said they were interested in buying me a pack for my trip, that's awesome news.
There's this show/art exhibition on in Melbourne in a few weeks, they're displaying all sorts of photographers, artists, tattoo people blah blah blah that are involved in the hardcore/punk scene. I think it sounds really interesting, I would be keen to check it out.
