Got real drunk last night. Going to have a really lazy afternoon and go to bed early. Went to Transit after work with Brook from the cafe. Smashed some dudes in pool but eventually we lost. We had a pretty good combo happening, and i was in good form, which is rare. Drank, drank, drank. Eventually went to a show at the Basement. It was pretty rubbish. Met up with Ben there and we drank more beer. We went in to Rev to meet up with Rhys, Kat, Shaun and Alison. I was keen to dance but they kept playing shit songs.
I was going to stay at the hostel because I didn't want to wait in the rain for a taxi and I also didn't want to ride my bike home, and I called up to say I was coming in, but when I got there I knocked on the door and no one would let me in. It makes me worry what happens when actual backpackers with late bookings arrive at 2am.
So I got on my bike and headed for home. Not long in, the rain got really super heavy, so I called up Kate and asked if I could stay at her house, so I did that. Things between us having been going really well. I actually did not plan to stay at her house each night from Wednesday, so since my German class, which was the last one for this beginners course, I have been wearing the exact same clothes. So wearing some fresh clothes today was a pretty excellent feeling.
