I don't know if I lived up to my expectations of myself today. I wasted a fair bit of time this evening, just stuffing around on the internet.

However, I only spent a couple of dollars this morning, when I went to get the paper, and while I was there I bought a couple of zine related things.

I did work today, so got back into the swing of things at the AIS, and booked in a bunch of tours for Feb. There was nothing available to me in the next couple of weeks though, unfortunately.

I also did a lot of planning on my routine for nationals. I'm going to do it to the Lostprophets song Five Is A Four Letter Word. At the start it has this bit where it goes "call me a superstar you better go check out the style". So I'm thinking it needs to be a fairly high standard routine or it could fall down.

2 minutes is a lot longer than you think when planning a routine. But I have a few sections planned out. The first bit I hit some inside stalls and clippers, then ducking clipper then the song goes "YEAH!" and I do a ducking osis, op clipper, spinning clipper, a couple of basic tricks, duck>dive>duck>dive a couple of toe stalls, acknowledge the audience...then 20 tiltless contacts, which can vary. If I drop, I continue to count as if I had not dropped. After this one a particular beat I hit dimwalk> paradox mirage> butterfly> osis then a few basic tricks, and try for a torque, then hit inside> outside> clipper> pincher> clipper. Then I have a section where I hit a whole bunch of tricks, but instead of landing normally, land them to inside stall...so stepping inside, atomic inside, ducking inside, etc Before finishing off the routine with 3 consecutive reverse swirls.

So that's a basic rundown which I will develop on further as the time gets closer. There's only about 2 months to go. Gotta get my shit together. Not just for the routine, but also for the actual tournament.

However, my goals for myself for the tournament

- Routines- top 5
- Sick 3- top 3 (came 4th last year, hope to do one better)
- Shred 30- score over 100. I've never been very good at all at the old shred 30.

After I was playing footbag Shaun and Tim were heading up to kick the soccerball round at the uni oval, so I joined in on that, and it was quite tiring. So a real big day for exercise in the end.

So overall I guess I did ok with my day.

canberra, footbag, exercise, work, soccer, life, friends
