(no subject)
So I quit the Amnesty job on monday. In the heat Melbourne has had this week, it wasn't worth standing around waiting for people to sign up.
So yeah, now I have no job. So we've decided to move to Canberra, meaning I need to just get a job for about a month or so. I have an interview which sounds like if I am successful, will start straight away with some sort of bullshit charity fundraising place in Camberwell. I have done this before, and been fired haha so hopefully I can last a little bit longer, because seriously, I have had enough jobs!
Today I'm doing a workshop with Girls Sport Victoria, it's pouring with rain, so it'll be inside instead of outside. I got a call saying I didn't need to do it, but I think it will be good for me to do it.
Oh yeah, Big Day Out number second announcement came out today. I'm pretty siked now. Enter Shikari, Silverchair, Karnivool, Regurgitator, Anti Flag, Gyroscope etc. + already Rage Against The Machine, Bjork, Grinspoon, Battles etc. This is going to be very fun.

So yeah I should have a pretty good time at that. So I guess the current plan is fly to Sydney at some stage, around the 19th Dec I think. Party with friends, drive down to Bega with Grandma and Grandpa, stay there for Christmas and New Years. Footbag Jam in Narooma on the 4th or so. Then there's a footbag thing in Melbourne the next week, after this I will head to Canberra for serious house-hunting and job-working.
I will be doing a demo at the Park Live festival on Australia Day again next year, which should be pretty cool. Good publicity for nationals, which will have a new pair of lavers up for grabs (pretty good prize), thanks to www.worldfootbag.com After doing this I will return to Melbourne for the Big Day Out, then we should have a house to move into in Canberra, and I'm going to go back to study and do a Diploma in Youth Work.
However, I would still like to go overseas in July/August, so I really need to get my shit into gear in regards to saving etc so I can make it there. Oh, I got a Victorian license today...my ACT one expired pretty much when we moved here, so I guess it's about time. If I go down with Grandma and Grandpa, I will do a lot of the driving, as Grandpa had a hip operation a little while ago, so it wouldn't be good for him to drive long distances.
